Appearance:

A seemingly socially disadvantaged Fawnling, Alasdair has only recently returned to the herd that at least in some ways accepted the shortcomings of his light coat. He once challenged the mindset of Glenmore with his masculinity and is very much the former Crowned Prince's son. Tall and muscular, powerful yet agile, had he been born several shades darker, he would have been a fine example of a Glenmore stag. His facial features are heavy and sharp and he is altogether as angular as he once was arrogant.

His appearance took something of a turn for the worst with his banishment and his pale hide is now littered with scars. Those who have left their mark on the once-Renegade include Blackwood Raider Brynmore, Silverthorne General Eikthyrni, and now-fellow Guardsman Jackdaw. However, seasons have since then passed and he is no longer humiliated nor humbled by these blemishes. In fact, he instead wears them like armor, spitefully reminding those who resent him that he has returned and has every intention of standing his ground.

History:

Alasdair is a stag who has been to Hell and back, mostly of his own accord.

The Gold Cream Champagne was born to a sweet and caring Royal Doe in the spring of 748 of the New Age. The young Lord loved his mother, Lady Aoife, for she showed him kindness and love that he would never again know in his adult life. However, his time with her was cut short when she was accidentally killed in a struggle with a Blackwood Raider. While Alasdair does not speak of her death to anyone, it is something that has left a deep impression on him to this very day.

The Crown Prince's firstborn was then given to another doe to raise as her own. The young Orlana was a vain and fickle thing, obsessed with Donnaghán and making a name for herself in the herd. Whereas Alasdair was one of many fawns in the eyes of his sire, Orlana doted on the young buck, encouraging arrogance and ultimately triggering a superiority complex that he would carry with him later in life.

Alasdair busied himself with breeding and politics for some time and was promised his first Princess in the summer following his ninth birthday. He was betrothed to none other than Nuala's younger sister, BóAnn. However, all of this would change with the death of Captain Bróccán at the tines of his father. When Donnaghán was exiled, Alasdair was stripped of his title and any claim that he may have one day had to the throne, along with his Princess Doe. BóAnn was quick to remind him of this and he retaliated in an act of blind rage. He was just as quickly run off by the Royal Guard and banished to the bowels of Blackwood.
